It turns out I do a lot of thinking with my feet. View this email in your browser It feels like ages since I last wrote, but you probably haven't noticed I've been gone. The time elastic that is usually wound up tight and zips right by has been stretched out since I had my feet operated on (two hammertoes are now straighter). It's been six weeks and the surgeon is happy with my progress but I am impatient to be properly walking and gardening. I feel I’m turning into a tub of lard.
Thanks, Jason. At least I can still work. Just about - ideas are definitely better when they are gathered from the hills and comics are something the AIs haven't quite mastered (thank god I'm old, because that is coming).
I've been enjoying your missives. The last one about the terrible "Aussie" themed restaurant was like an episode from Seinfeld. Have you ever pitched a sitcom?
So sorry about the hammertoes! My mum had the same op and was also taken aback at how immobile she had become. It's not a small op! Hope you're back on your feet soon. Pun, well and truly intended.
